Get to know the photographer

I was born and raised in the Sylvan Lake area, growing up in the little town of Benalto. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in Education, I followed my love for teaching and now work as a substitute teacher. Life recently brought me to the Camrose area, and I’ve fallen in love with its quiet charm and strong sense of community. At home, you’ll find me with my two mini poodles — my little adventure buddies — and when I’m not behind the camera, you can probably catch me outdoors snowboarding, hiking, or camping.

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first real camera back in 2012, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I started with simple portrait sessions for friends in high school, and eventually turned my passion into a business while in university. Over the years, I’ve found so much joy in helping people see themselves in a new light — confident, radiant, and truly seen. That spark in someone’s eyes when they love their photos? That’s what fuels me.
